NOIR fine art exhibition - October 21 - 22 Horticulture Building Lansdowne Park

Andrew Milne September 2, 2022

Mark Your Calendars! We have an exciting announcement:

Andrew has been invited to be part of the Wall Candy NOIR Fine Art Event scheduled for October  21-22, 2022 in the Horticulture Building at Lansdowne Park! This is a great honour to be accepted to an event that invites over 50 established artists from Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and the places in between. The works are incredibly diverse, and we are looking forward to meeting other artists, meeting clients and showing off some new work. The Event will feature an opening night event (music and wine!) and two days of browsing (and purchasing). Check out the event details at: www.wallcandyartexpo.com.

As always, you can explore all of Andrew’s work at www.andrewdmilneart.com. All artworks are now available for purchase from the website. We are also now adding a delivery option if you are unable to come to pick up from the Studio.

Hope to see you at Wall Candy in October.

Opening Night Vernissage Event

Join us for a swanky evening soirée, featuring the NOIR fine art exhibition with over 50+ professional artists from Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and regions in between. This masquerade-themed vernissage will also showcase a live performance by Ottawa's acclaimed musical creator, Rebecca Noelle, who regularly graces the stages of Bluesfest and NAC.

The event will also offer a cocktail hour, and an exciting silent auction in support of Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation. Funds raised through the auction will be directed to the "Building Space Between the Walls" Campaign - a construction project repurposing space inside the hospital to build a comfortable, modern, fully-equipped space for 15 bed bays at QCH.  Learn more about this.

ANDREW D MILNE The Artist:

As an impressionist artist, my art reflects our relationship with the environment that surrounds us. I am an adventurer with a passion for camping, hiking, and exploring the world. I am captivated by Canada's stunning landscapes and find artistic inspiration in the breathtaking wonders of my homeland, whether I am revisiting my roots along the World Heritage Site Rideau Canal or embarking on a coast-to-coast journey.

With my brushstrokes, I bring the outdoors to life on canvas, skillfully depicting the interplay of light and color in nature. My artwork conveys the serenity of lakes, the grandeur of mountains, and the untamed beauty of forests, inviting viewers to reflect on their own relationship with nature and the deep connection between humanity and the natural world.

As an impressionist artist who finds solace in the great outdoors, my art celebrates the beauty and wonder of Canada's landscapes and reflects my profound appreciation for the environment. It invites us to immerse ourselves in the splendor of nature and serves as a visual reminder of the impact that the natural world has on our lives.
