Only two short weeks ago, we hosted my first solo art show (see video below). It was a humbling experience let me tell you. I was amazed at the response and the genuine interest in my work. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing it with those of you who were able to join us. I am particularly thankful for the generosity of the team that made it all come together: Velma, Lara and Scott.
Two words for all of you: Thank you.
I have enjoyed delivering art into people’s hands and homes. More than that, the conversations and interest have inspired me, and I have been busy back in the studio pushing forward with new sketches and work. New canvases arrived only yesterday. I love canvas delivery day!

I am currently working on a series for The Opinicon (www.opinicon.com). This restaurant and vintage ice cream shop is located near Chaffey’s Lock in the heart of the Rideau Lakes region (about 1.5 hours from downtown Ottawa). If you are in the area, please stop in.
