A Great Cause, Great Event, Great People!
On June 7th and 8th, 2024, Grant and Sandy Macleod graciously opened their home in Ottawa's Glebe Area to host a unique art event. The focus was on creating a relaxed and social atmosphere where art collectors and enthusiasts could meet the artists, engage in casual conversations about their work, and delve into the stories behind each piece. The event was met with overwhelming success, drawing in over 150+ patrons over the course of two days who were eager to explore and appreciate the art on display.
One attendee aptly captured the essence of the event, stating,
““What a wonderful way to experience these pieces, it is nice to see them on the walls of a home and speak to the artist.””
In addition to celebrating art and fostering community connections, the event also contributed to a greater cause. Through the generosity of those involved, $1000 was raised for The Ottawa Food Bank, highlighting the power of art to make a positive impact beyond aesthetics.
